Holy City Style is Charleston’s style and culture blog targeted to everyone just itching to get Charleston on the map for its fabulous pop-style.
A few months ago, an upper-up in the Charleston fashion community told me they wanted Charleston to be the “next New York” of fashion.
I couldn’t disagree more.
Charleston should be the next Charleston of fashion. This town has such a rich overlay of fashion and style, it’s just begging to have it’s own identity.
So here’s my contribution…
Holy City Style is about embracing Charleston’s quirky, silly, and sometime backwards culture. We’re a city on the brink of being something great to a whole new generation.
If you’re looking for reviews of plantation gardens, you might want to look else where. But, if you might wonder how you might translate the colors in the Magnolia Plantation Gardens into an awesome little cocktail frock…you’re in the right place.
This is an evolving site, and depends entirely on you the very stylish and culture hungry reader. Tell me what you want to see, what gets you going, and what would make you laugh–or just what you would like to waste ten minutes with!
So here’s to the start to a blog of a different color, new to the Charleston scene and hoping to find a good home!
